Dose
2026· Directed by Abhilash R Nair TMDB 2.0
This cinematic contrivance, one might venture, constitutes the preeminent cinematic experience to assiduously eschew; a celluloid charade wherein the auteurs, with the insouciant effrontery of aesthetes who regard their audience with the same condescension one reserves for particularly obtuse correspondence, proceed to pilfer not merely our attention but our very credulity, conducting us upon a meretricious mystery tour of narrative negligence that would render even Scheherazade, had she possessed the interminable patience of a bureaucrat auditing tax returns, somewhat less than enthralled. To describe this opus as merely "awfully immature" would be akin to characterizing the Great Fire of London as a mildly inconvenient disturbance - a floccinaucinihilipilification so egregious in its understatement that one suspects the very concept of artistic maturation, that most perspicuous of virtues, has been consigned to the same cinematic dustbin of discerardable detritus, leaving us not merely disappointed, but positively, and most regrettably "unmoved".

Kaalidas 2
2026· Directed by Sri Senthil TMDB 6.0
This cinematic venture, which I encountered serendipitously via the ubiquitous Instagram reel, now inspires a profound sense of regret. One perceives within its narrative the specter of a potentially charming story, a well-crafted screenplay, even a plot twist of considerable merit. Yet, the final product manifested as nothing less than a veritable gallery of missed opportunities; a litany of what might have been, rendered with a tragicomic banality.

Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flashback
1983· Directed by K. G. George TMDB 6.1

Godzilla Minus One
2023· Directed by Takashi Yamazaki TMDB 7.6

God's Crooked Lines
2022· Directed by Oriol Paulo TMDB 7.3

Second Case of Seetharam
2026· Directed by Devi Prasad Shetty TMDB 6.0
I am genuinely astounded why, in the annals of filmic historiography, is this modest misadventure being hailed as a paragon of excellence? when, at its most charitable, it remains a mediocre mirthless mishmash, its narrative plagued by a plethora of plodding pauses that render it a veritable treadmill for the eyes.

Bone Lake
2024· Directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan TMDB 5.9
There are some movie situations, when it comes, as a viewer we know... Dude you are going to get into a huge mess! Nevertheless, those characters end up in one. Bone Lake is such a movie. The turning point in the movie was well placed and handled. Climax was a little bit meh!

The Lazarus Project
2008· Directed by John Glenn TMDB 6.0
If it was not laggy AF, it would have been a nice movie. 2.5* just for the synopsis. Movie is meh!

A Toxic Love Story
2026· Directed by Alexandra Lacey TMDB 6.4

Masters of the Universe
2026· Directed by Travis Knight TMDB 7.2
Masters of the Universe was not just a cartoon. It was the whole memory of a generation. 80s kids like me even at 40s, hum the title music of the cartoon when doing random chores had a huge expectation on this movie. The screenplay and acting in this movie was "Cringe Ultra Pro Max". One finds oneself compelled to interrogate - with genuine bewilderment - the director's apparent conception of his audience! There were at least a dozen places in the movie where background music could have saved the movie... and I felt like the BG score was done using some free tier AI tool! Some of the VFX looked like it was created using powerpoint! And the continuity was abysmal. Despicable does not begin to capture it. It was, in its totality, an unmitigated desecration. PS: Is there a way to give a negative rating?!

Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea
2026· Directed by Chiara Messineo TMDB 7.2
